UNA OPORTUNA COINCIDENCIA. INVESTIGACIÓN Y TECNOLOGÍA

A veces, la vida profesional nos sorprende, como es el caso de las dos intervenciones que voy a hacer el día 3 de septiembre en la Universidad de Minas Gerais y en día 11 de noviembre en la Universidad de Rio. Tan solo dos meses de separación entre dos temas que van inexorablemente unidos: la investigación en el primer caso y la tecnología en el segundo, evidentemente, referidos al mundo de los museos.

Quien conozca el mundo de la ciencia sabrá la relación que hay entre ambos términos y la discusión que genera: no hay investigación sin tener en cuenta a la tecnología, ni a la inversa. Es pues curioso que dos universidades diferentes me pidan que hable de dos temas que para mi van asociados y, así lo voy a plantear una en función de la otra.

Sometimes, professional life surprises us, as is the case of the two interventions that I am going to do on September 3 at the University of Minas Gerais and on November 11 at the University of Rio. Only two months apart between two themes that are inexorably linked: research in the first case and technology in the second, obviously referring to the world of museums.

Anyone who knows the world of science will know the relationship between the two terms and the discussion it generates: there is no research without taking into account technology, or vice versa. It is therefore curious that two different universities ask me to talk about two issues that for me are associated, and that is how I am going to raise one based on the other.
